Eurofork is glad and honored to announce the agreement signed with Beijing Research Institute of Automation for Machinery Industry (RIAMB), a reference point system Integrator in the Chinese market. With this agreement RIAMB has chosen Eurofork as its key partner for the supply of all our load handling devices (from ESMARTSHUTTLE to Telescopic Forks). The sign of this agreement took place with a ceremony in November 2016 during the CeMAT Asia in Shanghai. During the ceremony were present the Chief Executive Officer of Eurofork and the Vice President of RIAMB as well as the media (television and press). We would like to thank RIAMB for choosing Eurofork as key partner for all their intralogistics projects. We are sure this will be a fruitful and win-win cooperation that helps Eurofork products to satisfy, as usual, the Chinese and South-East Asia markets.

International Patent for ESMARTSHUTTLE system

New Year 2017 begins with the news that the ESMARTSHUTTLE system has been officially granted by the international patent by the European Patent Office. This patented solution is ideal for high density storage and is particularly suitable for those warehouses to be built into pre-existing buildings. Thanks to the system’s flexibility, eventual constrains such as vertical limits, presence of pillars or irregular layouts, can be easily managed, as well as both the LIFO (Last In First Out) and FIFO (First In First Out) logics. Thanks to the absolute and continuous positioning of all warehouse contents (machines and pallets), the ESMARTSHUTTLE system can perform simultaneous missions increasing system’s performances.

EUROFORK, A NEW BEGINNING

After exactly 20 years of activity in the historical headquarters in Macello (TO - Italy), in the year of its twentieth anniversary Eurofork moves to Roletto (TO - Italy) inaugurating a new plant perfectly in line with the current image of the company that, over the years, has established itself as one of the world's leading manufacturers of handling systems for automated warehouses. The new Eurofork headquarters, located 30 km from Turin and with an overall area of more than 25,000 sqm, of which 10,000 sqm covered, fully adopts the philosophy of environmental sustainability: the plant is totally "plastic free", with beverage dispensers with packaging in sustainable materials and is energetically self-sufficient thanks to the use of photovoltaic panels that contribute to the reduction of environmental pollution. The company has set up a space dedicated to new business and innovative startups, with the aim to create an innovative hub in which to test new ideas and stimulate networking business. The new Eurofork headquarters was also conceived as an investment in the wellbeing of its over 80 employees: spaces for leisure and relax, a fitness room and a paddle court are available to all employees for a better quality of life, with a view to a retention policy that the company promotes to attract and retain the best talent in the area. The territory has been at the centre of the choice to remain in the Turin area. Eurofork enters the program ELITE company of the Italian Stock Exchange

Eurofork S.p.A., an experienced company in the designing and manufacturing of automatic handling systems, has become part of ELITE, international program of the London Stock Exchange Group born in Borsa Italiana in 2012, dedicated to all companies with high growth potential. The inclusion of Eurofork in the ELITE international community, which took place on June 6 2019, together with many other Italian companies of excellence, was made possible thanks to the strategic partnership with Intesa Sanpaolo through Mediocredito Italiano - a structure of the Group dedicated to SMEs - in the framework of the long-term cooperation with Confindustria, which has been working with numerous initiatives and tools to support the Italian economy over the years. The innovative model of the ELITE programme represents a new way of supporting companies with the aim of accelerating their international growth by creating opportunities and value through access to an exclusive Lounge, with a training and tutoring service for companies wishing to start a path of organizational and managerial development. ELITE currently has selected 1,177 companies, 734 are Italian. The selected companies come from different sectors including automotive, industry, food and design. Eurofork among the finalists of the Italian Mechatronics Award

Last December 10th took place the Italian Mechatronics Award (PIM) ceremony, promoted by Unindustria Reggio Emilia, in collaboration with Nòva - Il Sole 24 Ore, Club Meccatronica and Community Group. Eurofork has been selected, together with four other industrial companies, among the top five most innovative companies in the Italian mechatronics sector. This could be possible thanks, above all, to ESMARTSHUTTLE solution: a shuttle system for the management of multi-level automatic warehouses that can be integrated into a 4.0 company. ESMARTSHUTTLE system is able to move into the three dimensions of the space and allows to automatically pick up loads in the warehouse. The other awarded companies are Technogym, Fameccanica, Fassi Gru and Ognibene Power. The winner was Technogym to which Eurofork offers the sincerest congratulations.
