VS Type

 The VARIANT VS forks are the reinforced version of the VARIANT MV forks and are mainly used for double deep pallet handling.

Two models, VS172 and VS182, form part of this category: the values  172  / 182 represent the total height of the slides, while their width is equal to 185 mm.

Belonging to VARIANT fork group, the VS models have two geared motors that permit either the movement of the last two slides for the single deep stroke or the motion of all three slides to achieve the double deep stroke.

This possibility allow a better organization of the warehouse thanks to a more efficient pallets positioning without the use of steel tops, granting a money saving.

These forks have been designed to handle pallets or other loads with a maximum weight of 1500 kg. the VS forks are especially used when the ratio between the stroke and the length of the fork is too high for a MV Variant or when it is necessary to have a smaller deflection compare to the one achievable by littler type of Variant forks. The reference table for VS forks is shown on the next page.

 The length L and the strokes S1/S2 in the table are examples: each fork can be customized following the customer needs

The Hsd value in the table is referred only to the VS single deep slides height: the DS Hsd value is equal to the Hdd one

The SD deflections refers to the stroke S1 and are valid for the VS forks only

The DD deflections refers to the stroke S2 and are valid for all VS and DS forks
