VARIANT

The VARIANT MV forks family is the standard Eurofork product (international patented), used for a double deep pallets handling.

By using special construction materials, these forks can work up to –28 Celsius degrees (-18°F). The MV forks have been designed to handle Europallet up to 1500 kg.

The use of one of the two geared motors installed on it enables the independent movement of the two slides to perform the stroke in single deep with a reduced height, while the other geared motor allows the movement of all three slides to perform the stroke in double deep. This possibility permits  a better organization of the warehouse thanks to a more efficient pallets positioning, avoiding the use of steel tops, and consequently granting a money saving. Furthermore, a standard couple of VARIANT Forks for Europallet handling is extremely light (about 800 kg both motors included). It is proved that for each 100 kg less on the stacker crane there is a money saving of about 1,300 € each year in electrical energy that produce a cut down in emitted CO2 greater than 6 tons each year.

 This family is composed by MV165, MV167 and MV172. The number that distinguishes the three products represent the total height of the slides, while their width is equal to 175 mm for the first two types and 180 mm for the MV172.
